You always have 100% control over your grain when it’s posted on FarmLead.

When you first open the Marketplace, you will see all postings by other Sellers and Buyers around you. The search function helps you quickly find bids and asks.

How to Search the Marketplace

On iOS

1. Select the Search icon from the bottom menu.

2. Select the Commodity you are interested in searching by tapping "All Commodities". Type your search or select it from the list.

3. Set the location of the search. You can search by distance or province/state. You can also search to see postings within a specific distance around your location.

4. Select the type of offer you want to search for. “For Sale” grain asks are posted by Sellers, “Wanted” grain bids are posted by Buyers. You can also search for both at the same time by selecting “Both”.

5. Select the contract type you would like to search for by using the toggles. If the toggle is green and shifted to the right, offers with that contract type will appear in your search.

6. There are also additional filters you could add to your search such as grade, crop year, price, freight, and special qualities. To view these, tap on "Show more search options".

7. Tap "Search" in the top right hand corner.
